-aww- However, there’s a perfectly good explanation for that :). Since I wanted to write about a few different things, I’ll divide them up by topics
My recent reading habits
Well, as I told you previously I bought an e-book reader… I’ve been reading ever since (and I only got it last week). I’ve already finished Twilight and When the Wind Blows. I started New Moon this morning so I could be ready for Breaking Dawn… I don’t think I’ll buy it right away, which is in just a few hours actually (aproximately 12 hours from the precise moment I’m typing these words). I’ll wait until I finish New Moon and Eclipse or I’ll be too tempted and end up reading the last one prior to finishing the others first. I guess it helps a little that I’ll be busy tomorrow, so I don’t get tempted to go into the nearest book store to get a copy. After I read all four books of the Twilight Saga, I have to read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, which is the first book in that series. I actually never read it, since I read the second one when the first movie was already out. I’m constantly being told to read it, so I guess I finally will… Then I guess I’ll go for The Host, also by Stephenie Meyer… Agh, the list is soo long i don’t know which to pick next!
Painfully Tired
Yes, as the very title of this post suggests, I’m painfully tired… No, it’s not a metaphor… I really AM tired. Yesterday I went to bed at around 10 pm (having gotten up at 6:40 am, which is painfully early in my summer days, and having gone to sleep at around 12:40 am the day before). Sadly, I couldn’t sleep. Darn! So I tossed and turned in bed for who knows how long until I finally fell asleep. Then I woke up at around 6:50 am…
Of course I could sleep in… But I’m trying to adjust… Normally, in the summer, I go to sleep very late and wake up reasonably late. But with school starting in about a week and a half I need to adjust my sleeping/eating pattern. So I self-imposed a curfew and a waking hour. I haven’t been able to follow them, though… But school isn’t the only reason I started re-adjusting my pattern… What I have to do tomorrow is very closely linked.
About my busy day tomorrow
-sigh- Tomorrow I have to get up at around 3:00 AM… I know what you must be thinking… Why on earth will I get up that early if we’re in summer? Well, there’s this activity from school… yeah, sucks I know. It’s about an hour and a half away from my house… and we have to be there at about 5:30 am. So waking up at three, gives me about 45 minutes to get ready and 15 minutes to get up to the meeting point… Then giving us the hour and a half we need for the actual trip…
If it were a boring school activity with lectures and stuff, I’d skip it… But it’s actually going to be really fun… It’s sort of dynamic. Which means I can’t doze off in a lecture… I’ll probably be active most of the day and I can’t be tired. Hence, my decision to re-adjust my sleeping pattern. I’ll probably go to bed at around 7:00pm today so I can be ready for tomorrows exhausting trip.
Continuing with the rest of this post without any peculiar topic
After this somewhat long post, I can’t seem to think of a way to end it…
Ah! I just remembered, I’m actually working on a very simple layout which I like a lot. I wont say a theme because I don’t think it has one specifically… Like I said, it’s very simple, but by some strange reason, I happen to love it. I’m just working with the styling’s now… The fonts, the menus, etc… Making it work into a Wordpress theme, is slightly confusing… But I’m managing so far. So expect that no later than next week (if tomorrow doesn’t kill me that is).
As you can see, I’ve been keeping my comment-returning policy… and I will keep doing it
